She's Got The Look

New Obsession:
Gigantic, Huge, Lovely, Catapillar Like Eyebrows.

I am madly in love with eyebrows. The frame on a picture, without them the image cannot put it's best foot forward.  Case in point, Lily Collins.  Her eyebrows are my ultimate goal, they are so beautiful!!

I have been working with our local Anastasia Eyebrow representative at Nordstrom Oak Park, Sally.  She has done a wonderful job giving my unruly brows a nice shape, and now I'm dipping a toe into the waters of eyebrow tools.   The following items are my fave so far:

Nars eyebrow brush and Anastasia eyebrow gel.  The brush is step one, using an eye shadow to fill in, the gel is step two, holding everything in place.

When everything I'll ever do I'll do for you
and I go: la la la la la
she's got the look."- Roxette

Red Suede Shoes

I've heard so many people commenting on 'how to wear black and not be boring'.  There have been more then a few blogs featuring the idea lately as well.  My question: Who ever said black was boring in the first place???  For me, it's the perfect palatte to highlight fabulous accessories... DUH.

Enter: Enzo Angiolini red suede shoes.

Q&A: How do I wear resort/ spring items now?

(Chloe Marcie medium handbag, Tory Burch bug blouse, Rag and Bone denim, Frye booties, Chanel aviators)

Are you sick and tired of winter?  Feeling so cold all you want to do is hibernate in your PJ's?  In serious need of Vitamin D?

You need a POP of spring color to perk up your winter wardrobe!  This is the epitome of 'buy now, wear now' resort fashion, even if you have no travel pans.  All you need is a fresh color, a crisp new white something or other, and a new attitude towards your wardrobe.  Here are a few ideas:

*Most of our blouses are all season.  You should be wearing them year round: on their own in summer, and layered up for fall/ winter.  Do not put away blouses for the winter just because you think they have 'summer' colors.  One of the prettiest winter combos is pastels and cream!

*Carry your summer handbag for a week or two.  Okay, maybe not when there's inches of snow on the ground, but on a sunny day you should wear a summer bag for a change during the winter months.  You'll be surprised how happy a cheerful color can make you feel after months of black...

*Give your skin every advantage!  Drink Water!  Get a new concealer ( I am forever sold on Nars, it's magic! )  Consider a Vitamin D serum: my fave is Dr. Gross!

Bear-Y Warm

It can be tough during the winter months to keep warm, and keep smilin!

Decided it was a warm hat day, so I pulled out this little panda bear that I bought with friends on the boardwalk in San Francisco.  I LOVE picking up little trinkets on vacations, every time you see/ wear them, you think of good times had.

New Silver Chanel Aviators!!  Virgin Saints and Angels two-way necklance, handmade in Mexico.

Camouflage anorak from B.P., red Topshop dress, Frye Boots.

When winter blues get you down, put on a happy face... Or a funny hat!

Spring has already hit the floor of our stores in the form of Resort! If you're looking for a winter 'pick me up' or in need of travel outfits, please email for an appointment:
