I am always on the lookout for two specifics in fashion: Statement Pieces, and Staple Pieces.  Recently I was lucky enough to pick up Jbrand's Aiah leather jacket in PINK!  Also, Tory Burch's super fun bug print blouse.  Paired with one of my favorite pairs of Jbrand denim= One fantastic statement/ staple outfit.

Q&A: Splurge or Save?

It is my job, as your stylist, to steer you in the right directions.  All your wondering, pondering, and time spent on decision making is what I should be doing to make your shopping life easier!  

Enter the age old question: Should I splurge on the pricey item? Or try to find something similar for less?

Case in point, and the way I would direct you:

SAVE $34

VS 

Splurge $195

I am a lover of all things designer don't get me wrong, but in this case I would advise my client to SAVE all the way.  Yes, like all things, there is a difference in material, cut, and all over quality in a garment.  And if you have specific allergies or body shape, that may make your decision fall a different way.  However, if you want a fantastic looking piece, a quick nod to a trend, then you want to SAVE here.  If you are investing in a Little Black Dress, that's another story.

Brunching on a Sunday in comfy boyfriend denim and the ONLY heels I will wear when I'm dressing with comfort in mind.  The new Wyatt peep toe booties by Rag&Bone have a 4inch stacked heel and are as close to walking on clouds as heels get.
